ok i just bought a 1st gen motor they thought the head gasket blew in it. But come to find out after i had bought the motor for 400 dollars complete. The harmonic balncer wasnt working properly and that made the car act up or something i guess. Never the less the motor has a fresh rebuild and the balance shafts are removed. not to bad for 400 dollars. so now for the question. do i need to take everything off the second gen. block and put it on the first gen block. I know that you use the second gen head. But other than that i dont know. any tips or tricks also would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
