i was working on my car today and for some reason i took off my return line on my 14b and when i put the bolts back in i snapped one of the bolts in the turbo. i put the other bolt in andleft it. can i run the car with just the one return line bolt in it? will it leak oil?

You can get RTV at any auto parts store, like advanced auto or autozone. It comes in a tube and you squeeze it out it dries like rubber kinda. I like Ultra grey RTV its what many car manufacturers use OEM. If it was me I would try the grey rtv and bolt it up with the 1 bolt, as i said there isnt to much pressure in the return line as its gravity fed.

RTV is Silicone gasket sealant. There are a lot of kinds, like red, blue, ultra gray, black, etc. Just look at any auto parts store.

I would use an easy-out and get that broken bolt out of your turbo. Even though the oil return line isn't pressurized, it needs to have a good seal or oil will leak. It always finds a way.

I agree with trying to get the bolt out. It may work without for a short time but why not just fix it so that you won't have to worry about it any more?

my cars not running right now and i need to have it running by friday and on the road so i cant drill and tap it i dont have the time
