I am running the stock fuel system, and am looking at putting dsmlink in my car. I already have t28 running 18 psi, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, greddy front mount, act 2600 clutch, team rip tranny. My question is if i install the dsmlink, will there be much of a performance difference without upping the boost because of the stock fuel restrictions? The car pulls pretty hard at its current condition, so would tuning with dsmlink make it run better and pull harder?

Tuning is the begining and end of everything. Of couse you'll gain. Not only that, but the drivability and MPGs get better as well. So yes and yes. I gained over 90whp from AMS mildly tuning my car with DSMlink. And it's still rich!

DSMlink will give you a lot safety wise, and you'll probably find out that t28 @ 18psi is past what your stock fuel system can handle. It's a very worthwhile tool. Get bigger injectors, fuel pump, and afpr along with it, and you'll be able to make the most out of your current setup.

This is the setup that i am looking at getting soon, Precision PTE 880cc fuel injectors, Walboro 255 lph fuel pump, Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator 13109, along with the V2 dsmlink and bump up the boost on my t28 to about 20-22 psi. Should i just wait and put all this in at the same time, or should i go ahead and install dsmlink and then add the rest later?

man i just bought dsmlink. and its a bit nerve racking when u get a 500 dollar box that weighs one pound in the mail. but after i installed it, it has definitely been the best invesments of my life. hands down. and it sure beats my older logger/afc setup

another thing is i went ahead and got fic 1000's. no complaints fic injectors seem to run very well in dsm's ill recommend them.

Please note that when install the DSMlink it bypasses the fuelcut feature so if you dont upgrade the fuel right yet please be advise of this hate for you to mess anything up first thing . But with proper tuning you will be fine and yes there is a gain over any type of engine management programming device. You will not go wrong with DSMLink

Install it now and tune a your current set up. Tuning device is one of the single best upgrades you can do.
