Okay so I pulled my engine today (went awesome!) and took my hood off right before because i wasn't sure if the hoist and engine would clear. Anyways when I reinstalled it the gaps all suck now, how do I adjust them? Do i just loseen the bolts and push the hood to the side with the larger gap? Or is there another adjustment I am missing.

That's basically it....of course once you get it re-aligned and before you take it off again for the install, mark the hood and hinges so you don't have to go through so much trouble.

Exactly, you have learned a new lesson on hood removal, LOL. BTW, you aren't the first to do this, and you won't be the last. Atleast now , whoever reads this will know how also. Mark the hood brackets and the hood so you have alignment marks to put it back on with. Now , like the other person suggested, tighten the bolts just tight enough for you to be able to shift it around alittle. Line it up, open carefully ,not to shift it , and tighten it up. The latch should be fine don't mess with that , if its a problem its because the hood isn't aligned at the brackets right. Good Luck.

Damn, hopefully I can get someone to help me tomorrow, shifting the hood and getting everything lined up is tough. Right after I took the bolts out I was like, hmm I wonder if I should have marked them, then said ah screw it. Stupid me, time for some fiddling tomorrow, thanks for all the quick responses.
