Ok so the day is finally here and I'm on tuners at 2:00 in the morning trying to get over this insomnia shit, I'll be the proud owner of a 1995 GST tomorrow morning. I need some help and tips from you guys because this is my first turbo car.
Here's the scenario:
(1.) The car has been sitting for 6 months because the seller removed the fuel rail and installed it on his other GST so it's stored at a tow yard and I still can't believe I got this unbelievable deal
(2.) The only thing the car needs to run is the fuel rail, plugs and wires according to the seller.
I need suggestions on what to do about this situation. I'll be bringing a replacement fuel rail and injectors that I got from a buddy and I'm hoping to drive the car home instead of having it towed. What things will I need to do before attempting this task? I have the plugs and wires too but since the car hasn't been driven in so long can you guys tell me how to go about this. My thoughts were that the oil should be changed and the fuel should be replaced with new fuel before the car is driven but I want everyone's advice first. Now I know a fuel rail shouldn't be too hard to replace but after doing my research it seems as if I'll need to replace a few things first, things like the o-rings, insulators etc.. I need a lot of advice on this.
I will post a lot of pics in the morning also.
