I purchased a boost leak tester from a site that got good reviews recently. I tried to do a boost leak test today on my lunch and the tester pops out of the coupler that is attached to the compressor housing of the turbo.

I did a search and didnt find anything about the tester actually popping off. so basically I cant put more than 5psi into the system, but when I drive my car my boost gauge can build to 20psi+ and is definatly boosting WTF

Please help!!!

So the end cap pops off the coupler connected to the turbo?

The solutions are:

-Tighten the clamp down tighter, probably already tried this.

-Add some glue or rough up the surface between the coupler and the cap

-Buy t-bolt clamps, and try those.

It shouldn't be a major problem.
