AWD Exhaust on FWD

So i was looking on ebay for cat-back systems and all the ones that came up where for the gsx (this is for a 1g by the way). Will these sytems fit on the fwd or are they different. I know you guys are gonna say ebay stuff is crap but i only paid $275 for my car so i dont wanna pay more than 300-350 for a cat back exhuast.

No, an AWD exhaust will not fit on a FWD unless you hack it up and add more bends. Reason being that the gas tanks are different which causes the exhaust routing to be different. Another reason is that on a FWD, the exhaust goes up over the axle and on the AWD it does not. I would suggest going to an exhaust shop and have them custom make you one. It would be cheaper than buying a premade exhaust.

Yea just get a custom one made. I was curious when i bought my FWD talon about this. i thought they were the same but there not.

Go to this site and look at their cat back systems. They are about $300 for the 1g FWD. The price varies depening on what muffler you get.

Yes, they only sell 2g exhaust systems when your looking in the 2g section There's a seperate section for the 1gs, you'll find exhaust systems there
