Looking into DOT Track Tires..

I'm buying rims and tires.. I just don't know what tires to get. I was thinking about getting Yokohama ADVAN A048 DOT-Legal Competition tires.. The car isn't really a daily driver, I drive it here and there during the week and on the weekends.. I don't know if this would be a bad idea.. I need something that will help me do well at the track and that will just stick really nice.

I would not be an expert on this due to never using street/slicks, but i have heard good things about the B.F.G. T/A drag, sorry I can't help more

Nitto 555 are really nice tires for the street and track they get the job done,

The Tire Rack has alot of good information about alot of tires. Please keep us informed on your milage if you get the track tires. I have not talked myself into track tires yet, but the car is sometimes used as a daily driver.

nitto nt555 hands down great tires i work at discount tire and there really good tires tons of grip and they last pretty long. i have them on my car they arent to great in the rain but dry traction is excellent. and they handle well
