what is the size for the insert back into the intake. is it 16mm, 19mm, or 29mm?
also on the greddy bov's, what do I do with the bottom nipple.. the top nipple reconnects to the stock hose but i got the bov used so I don't know where the bottom nipple goes or the size of the hose or Tee that i need. if you could help i would appreciate it a lot. thx,.

I dont' feel like looking for the multiple threads on this subject, but the bottom nipple could be connected to a pressure source so the BOV will be more responsive at low throttle and low boost... to avoid the fluttering, i T'd mine off in the actuator line and i get no flutter even at 2 psi.
Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Honestly, I guess its a matter of opinion in this case. I and have had bad luck with connecting the lower nipple.

I did the single spring mod to my greddy type s and reconnected my mbc to my j pipe and wga.

I can hold 19 psi with my boost only spiking to 20 psi.

I reccomment the ssm vs. the lower nipple.

i was found a thread and was going to tee it off to the line between the wastegate and the solenoid but what is that silver spring mod you are talking about?

Connecting the lower port to a pressure source will cause the valve to cycle more quickly, but it will also lower the max boost pressure the valve is able to hold. Most people leave the bottom port open to atmosphere, as the higher boost capacity normally trumps valve response.

The single spring mod is just removing the smaller spring inside the bov and leaving in just the larger spring. Not only can you still hold high psi, but it won't flutter under lower boost. With mine single spring modded, i think it will only flutter under 3 psi.
