97 gst parts car...taking a couple parts from.

Hello everyone. I came across someone local who is parting out a 97 gst. I was going to take the 2g mas, and valve cover. My questions are as follows:

1. As long as it is a turbo motor will the valve cover fit my 1g? Any particular things I should look out for?

2. The 2g mas, what all do I need to take off the car so I have everything to make it work in my 1g? What are some of the things I should look out for, I have never dealt with them. A way to tell if it is a turbo mas, unhacked or hacked, and how far on the connector to the mas do I cut? What parts do I need to take off for the 2g mas?

I am going to pick up the parts today or this saturday, your prompt replies would be great. Thanks everyone.

1.Yes the valvecover will fit your motor.

2. Take the MAS, intake snorkel, cut the MAS harness a few inches off of the plug so you have some wires to work with. It will be easy to tell if its a turbo MAS, if the car has a turbo
Look inside the MAS and if all the holes have screens in them, its unhacked.

Lol. I know that, but I was talking about what it actually looks like. For example the 1g has a 7th wire. Is there a way to look at just the 2g mas and know it is out of a turbo motor? Thanks.
