I save the settings on my SAFC 2 and the car runs fine but when I leave the car alone for a bit and go to start it up it idles rough (below 500) and makes ticking noises from the engine. The Safc 2 is set at 6cyl and the arrow is pointing up and all my other settings are set back. I'm trying to figure out why this is happening and researched like CRAZY and haven't got an answer. ANyone know?

Late response to you but I recently discovered myself that if you select "yes" @ "initialize" it actually "resets" the safc-2. Doesn't make a damn sense to me why it was setup this way. I've always thought Initialize meant "to start, begin".

hey puscifer, just for your info and whoever reads this, but initailze with programming(computer programming) means to set everything to 0,default, etc. so that is why it is probably like that
