NY emission testing?

do they use the sniffer thing they put on your exhaust for 96 and up awd's? or do they just use the obd2?

It all depends on where you live. I've never been "sniffed" in NY . But on a 95, I dont think they even hook it up to obd II. It wont communicate with albany anyways, so they'll just do a regular safety inspection and call it a day. Call Midas or someone and ask.

Check with your local laws for how they do smog.
Again, 95s no OBDII check because its transition year, obviously years earlier do not apply.
