Ok I have a small hesitation Problem, the car drives fine but if I get on it doesn't even have to be at WOT boost will spike to about 13 psi and it will hesitate, not much but enough that you can fell it not , when the boost level makes it way back down to 10 psi it will accelerate fine. The car has not been tune that is the reason I have the boost level set so low at 10 psi. Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks

I had this problem. I replaced my spark plugs and the problem went away.

I'd check for a boost leak first though. If one of your vac lines are off, this could be causing the problem.

I have checked for boost leaks and none was found, as far as the spark plugs they are new have about 2000 miles or less

Do you have a logger? Seeing those may better help diagnose. I still think that you may have a air leak somewhere.

You mentioned that you replaced your plugs, have you replaced your plug wires recently?

Yea wires was changed Magnecor 8.5 mm wires. The whole motor was rebuilt acouple months ago, and yes I have a logger....but it does me no go. Its just me a info that I dont understand:cry:

I think the car is runing super rich....but thats just me. I have a air/fuel that reads rich at wot....dont know if that correct

my car acts the same way at wide open throttle but only if i punch it in like 3RD gear or higher it seems like it cuts out. If I drive WOT through all the gears the problem never occurs only when i am cruising and hammer on it in a higher gear will i experience the problem. Any suggestions!!!

Same problem!!! If I let it slowly boost to 10 psi I dont have that feeling

Please don't bump your posts.

What kind of spark plugs are you using? Are they gapped correctly?

Did you do a proper boost leak test? If so, how much pressure did it hold? For how long?

On your datalogs, do you notice significant dips in your timing when the issue occurs? This indicates knock, either phantom or real, that could be causing your hesitation.

Yeah, i agree. 2000 miles ago is quite some time since you changed your plugs. Your gaps may not even be close to what they should be. Could be a faulty knock sensor if you are getting knock. Could be a boost leak you missed over too.

*update* did yet another boost leak test and found a small leak from the vacuum line going to the wastegate. fixed that and it feels a whole lot better. Its seem like its still there but now you can hardly notice it. So I going to zip tie the ends of all the vacuum hoses. I no longer trust the oem clamps. I was hearing a few leaks coming from the vacuum line on the throttle body

I checked my plugs and the gaps were way off. Regapped them and it solved the problem. Now my question is what would cause the gap to be so far off, or is this normal since the plugs havent been checked in awhile? They also were white on the ends?? What would cause that problem?

A lot of times, but not all, the gaps can expand under large amounts of boost. Also, i have actually had my gap change when i hit fuel cut one time.

Anytime you regap a plug, you make the tip a little weaker.

Not a big deal there. If you plugs looked a little white, it is possible that you were running a bit lean.

thanks for the input, I dont have a logger yet so i dont know what my fuel is like but its in the works. Thanks again.
