I have a glowshift boost and oil pressure gauge. There is an orange and a Red wire coming out. Im hooking them up to the dimmer switch. But when I hook the red to theblack and yellow one and the orange one to the green and white they dimm but in opposite order. So I switched the wires and they wont dim but the stocks do. what Am I doing wrong. I did the Vfaq and I am using wires 1 and 3

I am guessing that red gets connected to a constand power source when you turn the car on, aka an ignition wire. The orange most likely gets connected to the dimmer, so you can dim it/it changes from white to colour when you turn lights on.

from black to color but yea. I just wired them both to the dimmer. They dont dim which I dont mind. I just wont be able to turn them off unless the lights are off. its all good. Thanks though
