something wrong with my steering

[95 tsi awd]

right now my car isnt running an i was turning the steering wheel back and forth just like wobbling it and i could here something in the engine bay kinda like clicking everytime i wobbled it. anyone have an idea what this noise is?also my car has no power steering. its a 1g tsi awd thanks

Most likely outer tie rod ends. Inner TRE 2nd most likely. You will need to get under there and have someone turn the wheel while you look, listen and feel your suspension for play.
