Tappin 14b turbo housing

I was wonder if anyone has tapped their turbo housing before. I have a 14b turbo and I want to add a nipple so that I can correctly run a MBC the right way.

housing->mbc->wastegate

Any tips or suggestions?

wouldnt it be easier, and just as good to do the J Pipe? I think theres even a tech article on here about doing the J-Pipe.

If that the right way to do it why don't they do it from factory?

It's much easier to do it on the J-pipe for 14b/16g setups.

My J pipe is one i got off ebay. I purchased a 2g install kit for a 14b/16g set up. Im not sure if the J pipe is thick enough. It may be to just drill a hole and run a nipple into it.

Most J-pipes are much thicker than IC pipes.
