Ok, its been a long time since Ive posted on these forums. Well lets get to the point.

Well I bought a 95 GST in 04' with a trashed motor, rest of the car was in pretty good shape.
After a new motor, small 16g, pump, injectors, and pocketlogger/afcII setup the eclipse was running. However, only lasted about a year before the headgasket gave out. I sold the car in Feb 06' with what I thought was just a blown headgasket for 3k. The guy was going to pay me $500 a month for 6 months.(Key word there is WAS)
Come to find out the headgasket was leaking water/oil into the number 2 cylindar(so thats why I could never get that thing tuned right DOH!)

So after a year, the guy only paid me $1000 so far, but he bought a new motor, a new turbo, lowered it, and got it tuned a little. This weekend I told the guy to either give me the car back or I was taking him to court. Well Saturday we signed the car back over to me. After getting it home I start to evaluate what the damage is.

Tranny wont go into first gear, feels like something is stuck or bent and preventing it from engaging. But all the other gears work.
Engine looks good, needs a major overhaul of all the hoses and wires under the hood though. Runs good, but feels like its a little rich and a little ruff idle.
Turbo was supposed to be a new 16 g turbo, I look on the housing, and to my supprise, its says EVO III GT on the housing :thumb:
Exterior needs some work, a few little dinks here and there and a some scrathes and chips. He lowered the car what looks like aboput 2"-3"
Interior is another story, this is where its going to get pricey. Carpet is staind and dirty. No A/C, seats are prety bad.

So, this guy in the long run has paid $1000 to borrow my car for a year, lower it, new motor and turbo and get it back running for me. :thumb:

I havnt had a chance to get it on a lift to look at the undercarrage or really get into the motor and see whats going on.

I was almost thinking that it would be better to get rid of it and buy something else. However, after taking it for a spin, and boosting it just enough to hear that turbo whistle and then blow off, lets just say that was the biggest smile ive had on my face in a long time LOL.

This is a link to what the car was when I got it.

LOL yea its pretty nice. Just wish the dude would have taken better care of the car.

Well atleast it running. Im going to next week stripping it and seeing what m options are. Going to start by changing all the spark plugs and wires checking the oil and what knot.

when I had it I ran mobile one, however, this is a new engine and I have no clue what kind of oil he ran.
