I have 17 by 9's in front and 18 by 10 in back how can i make these bad boys fit on my car without giving up any stock luxuries. (ride quality, unwanted sounds, unable to turn because damn things are to big, you know that kind of stuff)

LOL, you can't put these on your GSX if that's what you're asking.

There are so many reasons not to use that combo on an AWD car, it's crazy.

I'll start with the biggest reason. With 2 different size tires f to r, you WILL kill your center diff. in short order.

A nose-heavy DSM does not need a larger rear tire than in front.

9" and especially 10" wide rims will rub something, guaranteed.

This thread gets long winded, but discusses a lot of options and includes a few links on tire/rim options. http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=230885 The 17x9's that are focused on require coilovers and sheet metal work. 17x8's in 38mm offset EVO VIII wheels) w/225-45x17's are a tight fit, but can be made to work, at least they did on my 1g.

I agree wider rims look good, I'm going to try fitting the 9" ones, but I'm willing to destroy some sheet metal in the process, as my car isn't exactly show-quality. :p

they bolt up but will rub like a mofo. and they are right do not do that w/ an AWD. you need the same size all the way around. I had 97 mustang GT wheels on my 93. (stock 3.27 gear option wheels) 17x8 and I had to find the smallest size 17 to fit on it. I forget the size but it was like 205/40/17 or something like that. and they barel fit on the rims and they still rubbed the struts in the front if hit a hard bump or turned sharp. not worth it. just buy some cheap wheels...
