I just got my 90 style oil filter housing and I want to port the relief valve hole. The plunger, for lack of a better term, has two tiny holes in it, 180 degrees apart . Do they have to line up with anything, like should they be exposed by the hole or covered by the housing to lubricate it so it can slide back and forth freely?

Yeah, all those threads are what got me thinking about porting in the first place. Some pics show the hole exposed, some don't, so I guess maybe its not a big deal on where its aligned. One way to find out...
