I was driving my 1g tonight and noticed that my greddy type S was starting to flutter. I pulled over at a carwash and popped the hood. I heard the sound of air leaking.

I looked everywhere only to find that the lower nipple on my bov was sucking in air. I have never noticed this before and I don't think it should be doing this. Any one have any info on this?

Thanks

Lower nipple shouldn't be sucking air, its supposed to be a sealed chamber. You must have a leak now & there are only two areas for it to leak, the piston shaft seal or more then likely your issue the diaphragm. Take the top hat off an inspect it for leaks, I know Greddy does sell replacement diaphragms, not sure if they still produce one for the type S but if they do it seems they are pretty pricey.
