Yesterday my car was running fine, today it didnt wanted to start up. Theres no spark, so guess what, I havent chek but i think i broke my crank sensor, yeah i guess its my turn for Crankwalk.

I want my car running back its not a DD but i want it to at lest run for the fisrt few months (until i build my 6 block), i was thinking on buying a new sensor but then i realized that what if I install those harness some companies sell or build myself one like if im having a 6bolt swap (who dosent have crank sensor) but still using my original block w/o crasnk sensor.

will it work?

Need help
need to know if i can run my car without crank sensor.
I there a wriring harness over there using stock 97+ CAS and use the car without crank sensor.

i search, i dont think the magnus wiring helps i stiill be using 97+ CAS

so what if im going to do a 6 bolt block swap with 2g head, i will still be using 2g cas and no crank sensor, ive seen pics of engines with 6 bolt swap and stock 2g head and cas and they are runnign, or am i confused?

ive even seen 6 bolt complete long blocks but with 2g cas in the 1g heas modified

I'll keep it simple:

1G CAS - both crank and cam signals
2G CAS system - 1 crank and 1 cam sensor/signal

You cannot mix and match. You must have both signals and cannot combine the two. If you are using 2g head with 1g block, I would imagine they are putting the 1G CAS on. If not, then they are using the 2g crank plate so they can accomodate the 2g CAS'.
