You think im safe for 500-550whp with it tuned correctly? (yes i know my turbo will not flow that much)

Im sure my tranny is pretty strained but im just wondering about the block at the moment.

People have had stock bottom ends with 500+whp ( VERY good tune), but with the proper tune, and fuel you will be fine.

I think anything over 500 on stock rods, even 1g rods is pushin it, but thats just me.
Yea i think it also. But there was a thread that someone posted about them running an SCM61 @ 39psi w/ E85 and the first thing to go on a junkyard 6bolt that they had was the pistons. They said it would be making over 500whp easily on the E85.

Some of you guys that have alot of experience with these motors. Is there anything that can be done to the rods to make them a little stronger? Do new rod bolts help them hold up and better?
