I was looking into gettin the hks piston for me 1g and start building the motor but not sure what rods to get? I was looking to get all the hks stuff like the vavlespring and cams and stuff has anybody use them help me know how it work and how good you like looking to get some.

Eagle and wiseco... Even though HKS is ub3r JDM typ3 R! I like HKS but for internals, there are much more cheaper and reputable options...

wiseco 9:1 :)

We put Wiseco 9:1's (stock bore) and Eagles on Sandra's car....wow, what a difference! Unless you're a serious baller or you have some sort of "need" to have everything HKS, I wouldn't waste my money on them. There are many many other rod and piston combos out there that cost at least $200 less than HKS's.

I am running Ross pistons (coated) with eagle rods, with no problems. Heck, I did 645AWHP on a heartbreaker dyno and have over 30K miles on this setup.

Do yourself a favor, pick up a set of pistons (ross, mahle, or wiseco), and a set of rods (eagle or crower). That will be $1000 for both instead for HK$ Pistons.
