I bought an eibach prokit and tokico blues and i want to replace all the other hardware on the suspension......what are all the bushings/bumpstops....ect that I will need? Will autozone or advance auto have these parts?
thanks a lot!

Get the energy suspension kit or the Prothane suspension kit. The energy suspension kit is around $160 while the Prothane one is arouund $260. The prothane kit give you more bushings but are alot stiffer than the energy ones. Your bolts should be find. If they are worn or broken the, just go to a hardware store and get some new ones.

And yes, most auto part stores should have the hardware you need. Just make sure you get the bolt size and thread pitch(ie: 12mm X 1.5 or 10mm X 1.25).

Another thing to mention is to get the correct Grade screws from the hardware store.
Here's a link that will help you. http://www.precisionscrewandbolt.com/metric.htm
Just hopwoodp said, be sure about the thread pitch.
I'll tell you right now, they are all 1.25mm pitch.

Most hardware stores carry the metric grade 8.8, which is a Grade 5.
You do not want to use this grade screw on any suspension part, but I'm sure someone will say otherwise.
I know for a fact all 2g suspension screws are a metric grade 10.
They are usually stamped on the screw head.

On another note, I've done both the Energy and the Prothane bushing kits.
The energy kit is a PITA to install due to having to press in the bushings.
People have used C-Clamps to do this, but good luck with that.
The prothanes are a split bushing design and are a breeze to install.
The hardest part is getting all of the old bushings out, including the outer metal sleeves.

Here's a link for the energy kit. http://www.suspension.com/mitsubishi.htm
Try http://www.nopionline.com/nopistore/index.cfm for the Prothane kit.
I found their price is pretty good for that kit.

Super old post.... but it came up in a search.

Rear upper suspension bolts SHOULD be Mitsu Grade10 (10.9) correct?

Most of my upper bolts were Mitsu "10" (couple were 7)

All my upper rear bolts are rusty, so I grabbed some decent looking ones off some different cars.

3G Eclipse GT (I'm using the tubular upper arms off this car) They were still gold colour from the zinc so I figured I'd use them, till I saw the markings. Grade4

I grabbed some of the same bolts off a 98 Non-turbo Talon..... Grade4

I'm missing some bolts from my hood (damn PO) I grabbed a couple from a 95 Sebring (Same doors/interior/DSM sticker under hood). Grade4 .... Bolts on mine are Grade7

Am I seeing a pattern here? Was someone asleep at the assembly line, or did AWD cars get stronger bolts everywhere.

Can't find anything 10.9 with the right threads at the local hardware stores, and shipping them in will triple the price.
I'm getting ready to order from the dealership, but I suspect they have no idea what grade they will be, and if they have to bring them in, non-refundable.

I'm assuming my old 10 are stronger then new 4? :p

Blast the heads, and give em a shot of black powdercoat?
