HELP please

hey people, im looking to buy this 91 talon fwd turbo. supposedly it sometimes doesnt start and sometimes will but wen it does it runs rough, the owner says its a crank shaft sensor. i never heard of this. wheres the sensor located on the 1g and what are the symptons of this sensor going?
think its bullshit and the rings are gone?

A 91 4G63 turbo does not have a crank sensor, only a CAS (camshaft position sensor).
If you are buying a used car, be sure to have a trusted and competant mechanic look over it before you buy it, or assume the worst and pay what you think it's worth based on a worst-case scenario.

If it is a CAS or something else "minor", you have to ask yourself why he didnt' fix it his self.

right up top on the left hand side of the valve cover right in front of the TB

its on the head. look towards the top left side of ## valve cover. its that round thing stickin out.
