So today I finished my 6 bolt swap into my 2g and we went to start her up and everything seemed fine like she wanted to start but she wouldn't so I pulled a plug and wire to check for spark and I had it so no problems there but then realized rhe plugs wasn't even wet like it should have been for as much as I was crankin it so then I thought no fuel well I was wrong there ### the fuel rail had plenty of pressure I almost got sprayed in the face. So my theory is the injectors just are not giving the motor fuel and I'm wondering if I missed a step in wiribg I had thought I read something about rewiring the injectors but I'm not sure ### now I can't find it so is there any wiring there I have to do or what? If not what else would cause this or what are some things I can check that could be causing this problem? Any help is appreciated guys and I thank you all advane for any help.

When I replaced my headgasket on my 6 bolt but should be the same for all engines it wouldn't start I was told by a local ca.dsm.org member to keep on cracking it a couple of seconds every couple of minutes, It worked. When it did start there was a huge backfire I don't know if it's normal but my car ran fine. If you want to test the injectors get the manual there's a section that tells you how to use a multimeter to test your injectors.

There's also the rewiring for the injectors you mentioned its done on the ecu pins, I believe its for a 6 bolt block with 2g head, I tried it to see If my car ran better because I wasn't sure which head I had on but it did nothing it still ran the same. You also have to rewire the cam angle sensor, I'm using a 90 style one, did you do that.

Read this page http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/tech/1gina2g.pdf it's got the step by step on how to do the swap. They also have a page dedicated to the ecu pin injector swap but that just changes the order the injectors fire, which makes little difference in most cars.

Double check all your wiring, especially with the cam and crank angle sensors. When I did my swap it took a long time to get fuel to the engine about 15-20 separate tries cranking it over 4 or so times a piece I have no idea why. But be careful not to fry your starter in the process.

Pull your spark plugs out when your cranking it will reduce the load on the starter and you will be able to tell when you have fuel. It will start spraying out of the plug holes.

Let me know if you have any questions on that Magnus article I followed it step by step but still had a few minor issues.

also are you using a first or second gen head? if 1g what year CAS does it have?

(You really don't need to 'bump' on this site, theirs allot of people who can help you and its just annoying...)

DSMmike- thanks for your help ill try turning it over a couple more times just to see if i have the same luck you did... i also made my own harness using the magnus install sheet and i did re pinout my ecu and have done all wiring according to other peoples installs and to my own knowledge...
i did know what CAS i had but dont remember off the top of my head now i think its the 90 cas it has the green cover on it... so yes ive done all that...

endeffect- its a 1g head and as i stated above i believe its the 90 cas with the green cover... and to my "bump" being annoying... i dont believe i asked if that was annoying or not? nor do i really care what you think is annoying really... i posted to get some help i didnt get any replies so i moved MY thread up if you have a problem with contact the tuners police if you care that much... i didnt really care to hear what was annoying or not...
