So today i just installed my Evo 8 blow off valve and Boost gauge. When i took it for a test drive i noticed a big difference in power and also noticed that i hit the 16 psi mark. My mods are as follows:
-K&N fipk
-BCS restrictor removed
-cut bov dump tube
-evo 8 bov

I was thinking about installing my manual boost controller to turn the boost down to 15 psi. *****I wanted to know if 16 psi is ok though.***** Thanks in advance.

You should probably get a logger, every car is different. The stock fuel system can handle 14-16 psi depending on the car. If it was me, i turn it down to 14 while i pick up a palm and cable.

Since you are going to hear it from every one else, I will just get it out of the way. You need to reattach your dump tube unless you have a blowthrough setup, which means gm maf-t. By venting, your car has unmetered air and it is running rich and will be hell to tune once you are ready.

To dsmmike50t, did you have a log to know you weren't knocking, or are you saying the car ran fine because it felt fine. Just because you motor feels okay, doesn't mean that it likes what is happening inside of it.
