Gaaaaah, I can't seem to get this bolt loosened. I've drenched it with wd-40/penetrator and let it sit numerous times.

Just so I don't look dumb, do I turn to 1 or 2? I've been going towards 1 and if I'm right what gives with this bolt?

You turn to #1. Lefty loosy, righty tighty.

Try using a shorter extension first.

You could also try a longer handled ratchet or slide a small pipe over the end the ratchet you have on there now for more leverage, but this may also break the bolt.

When you put the new bolts in make sure to use neversieze on the threads and you won't have any trouble next time.

Old sayin but I had to reassure myself with that lefty loosey thing.

I removed the coolant hose below the extension so I have more room. I took the extension off too and tried just socket and ratchet.. MAAAAN! It won't budge at all. I have no pipe so what else can I use to improvise leverage?

A jackhandle?

Try pulling the bolt to break it loose, instead of pushing.

Try hitting the ratchet handle with the palm of your hand. A couple of sharp blows will normally jolt the bolt loose.

I tried the jack handle but right at the entrance of it was a horizontal line to release the hydraulic pressure. BUT!! I got it, I found a huge extension in the tool box which overlayed the ratchet handle. A few good pushes and it sounded like something broke. Bolt came right out, phew........nothing broke but daaayum it was a pain. I'm gonna make sure this doesn't happen again. Thanks for the help fellas! :p
