Sherwood Park,
Hello all of you Canadians,

I am trying to find some parts for my new dsm and I cannot find a shop that will ship parts to Canada or if they do their shipping prices are super super expensive. Maybe I am missing something here but I could use some stuff and I would like to order stuff online but it just does not seem to be a shop that has everything I need and if they do they wont ship to Canada or like I said super expensive.

Steve

Welcome to being Canadian ROFL
When shipping stuff up from online retailers, expect to pay $$$ for shipping, taxes, duty, handling fees, etc etc... it sucks. Sadly, its sometimes still cheaper than buying stuff locally. Check with your local vendors too though; as long as the price is close after shipping/duty/etc, you might as well support your local shops.

Go to ca.dsm.org
Theres a member on there named Ziggy, he can get you almost any thing. good prices, and great person to deal with!

As we VPrime said, go to that board and contact Ziggy. He is a great guy. I ordered everything from him, my entire turbo setup. He deals mostly with extremepsi so you might want to check out there website as well. Other then that, welcome to Canada, I can understand what you are going through!

Yep welcome to being Canadian :thumb:

I find some vendors will be reasonable with shipiing while other are outrageous. The one key thing when receiving things from the US is to have the person declare the value really low as that value is what Customs bases there taxes and brokerage fee's off of. Also if it is shipped USPS there's about a 50/50 chance you won't have to pay any taxes or other BS fee's.

The biggest thing is to get in contact withthe comapnay. Ask them to ship usps instead of ups. It will save you a bit of cash on having it shipped and also some cash on duties etc. Expect to pay $50 on every $100 of parts you bring across the border through ups

If I were you, I would check out the Canadian board and contact Ziggy. He can get you anything from OEM parts to aftermarket. Moreover, I have heard that Purolator its also good fees and taxes. However, contact Ziggy and he can help you out!

Most of your products just have a picture..no prices...and you have a -1 trader rating...

ya well when someone tells you they have a 6bolt head in a 2G car and sold them a 1g manfold to fit a 1G head then it should work....maybe he should of told me the head was off a 2G before buying. Plus this was before I had a company
