Im looking to get the SBR 3500 clutch kit and waned to know what everyone would recommend as far as the flywheel. should i just resurface the stock one or go with an act or some other aftermarket one?

i personally like the aftermarket ones. i run the fidanza and i love it. it is not resurfaceable, but they do sell replacement friction plates.

I just recently installed the act and love it I have heard that it is a good medium for daily driving as it is not quite as light as the fidenza but still considerably lighter than the stock piece. But i have not personally used the fidenza

I didn't think the 3500 had much more pressure than the 2100? I know it has higher tq potential, but i thought the actual pressure wasn't nearly as severe as the 2600. I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time ;)

What's wrong with using this clutch with a 7 bolt:confused: I have the 3500 but hate it. I use the ACT streetlite flywheel and really like it. I think it's a better option than resurfacing.
But if you're not planning on doing too many engine mods I would get the act2100 clutch instead. Mine lasted for 65,000 miles without problems. The only reason I replaced it was because I had the transmission out for a rebuild.
