I can not seem to make my idle to 2k rpms right. it sounds like it is popping but smooths out around 2.5 to 3k rpms.

my mods are as follows
2.3l stroker kit
Holset HX40
Brian Crower 272 cams
Magnus intake
Turbonetics exhaust manifold
2.5" intercooler piping
large 12"x24"x3" FMIC
3" full exhaust
38mm tial wastegate recirculated
turbonetics godzilla bov
1g throttle body
GM MAF w/ MAFT
PTE 880 injectors
aeromotive fuel rail and AFPR set at stock pressure
walbro 255lph



how do i set DSMlink to work with the GM MAF? what setting should the MAFT be set to? if the ECU already is chipped for 880 PTEs should the MAFT be set to 0?

I would like to log and post but if i can not get the idle right then i can't log a run to fine tune.

i checked for boos leaks but everything checked out good

i am new to dsmlink so any advice in helping me tune my motor would be greatly appreciated thanks

It sounds like it is going to be either timing or fuel delivery. But it seems like you are already on the right track with trying to figure out the tuning and how the setup is supposed to be with DSMlink. Good luck.
 
I honestly have no idea. I just wanted to say that that is a sick looking engine bay either way.

MAFT should be set to 0 because you dont want it to lie to the ECU anymore.... ECU is now controlled by DSMLink.... Dont lie to DSMLink... It will just make life harder...
 
thanks for all the advice and comments. i already set all my MAFT settings to 0 (stock settings)

my DSMlink came with the PTE 880cc injectors chip so i figured i do not have to compensate with MAFT. I just wanted to be sure.

do i need to set it for the CAS inversion even though i have a 99 CAS?
my wideband o2 is reading lean during idle. I have sufficient fuel pressure and injectors so why is my wideband say i am running lean

what would cause the poping sound?

do i have to adjust the TPS?
