Hey everyone. I wanted to make sure there were no problems with my anticipated upgrade path as follows. I tried to model this mostly after the suggested one on the site. I only am listing the mods I feel are important to this post.

What I have done:
K&N intake
Boost gauge
MBC (14.5 lbs)
UICP
1g BOV

Everything else is stock if I'm not forgetting anything. So I will put on things in this order unless I'm suggested not to do so...

Cat-back exhaust
Walbro 255 with IE-FPR kit
DSMlink
16g EVO III kit
High Flow cat
DP
Bigger Injectors
FMIC

Does this look good to you guys? And what size injectors should I be looking at? What kind of power would I be making with this setup with 550's or 650's? I'd say running 18psi if you guys think that's safe. BTW, my engine and car both have 105,xxx miles. Thanks for anything and everything! :dsm:

550s would work, how much power do you plan to make? 18psi is higher than I would run for daily driving, but I am kinda a pu$$y about that. Everything you mentioned seems fine.

Sounds good, just make sure you install the FPR, FP, dsmlink, and injectors all at the same time.

Since you have dsmlink I would think about 750-950cc injectors so you have room to grow if you ever upgrade the turbo, which you most likely will do. The 255 is overkill for the 16g and dsmlink will work with any setup.

WTF 18psi to much for a DD. Thats the first ive heard that. LOL Also you want at least 650's. I would go even larger. DSMlink runs large injectors great and 550's would be a waste of money.

I said, I am a pu$$y with that kinda stuff... I don't know why. I have S*** luck... :-(

And I said 550s because he didn't specify how much power he wanted to make, that's why I asked him... If he wants more power than I was assuming, then he should certainly go at least 650. I was just saying 550s would work if it were a super conservative setup.

Everything you have listed looks good. As far the injectors go I have read on here that the best thing to do is to get the biggest injectors you can afford since you are going to be using DSM link and can adjust them accordingly.

He is running dsmlink, it would be convenient to run larger injectors just in case he runs out of fuel, plus his IDC's will be lower.

And if you have bad luck at 18psi then you have had some bad tunes.

If you're going to be getting DSMLink for your car get some 750-950 that way if you change the turbo later to a larger one and start playing around with a higher boost levels you wont have to pay for injectors twice.
I had 950s in mine when I still had a 14B on there but I also knew i would be putting a 50 trim on my car.

DSMLink + 950CC injectors + E85 + 30psi = One hell of a fun DD

But you are going the right path in your upgrades. Just remeber that correct tunning of the car is everything. I would recomend getting a WideBand O2 just to make tuning a bit eaiser but its not 100% nessory unless you really start cranking the boost up and want to get every ounce of power out of the car that you can.

Yea, hi flow cat should be added. I just made the change on the original post. Thanks. So, if I have DSMlink, I can run huge injectors and tune them down? Sounds good to me. Injectors are so expensive though. Are there any other cars that we can take bigger injectors out of? For example, my friend is turbo charging his M3, and says he is going to use the injectors out of a mustang and save himself some big $$$. Can we do that? Oh, and as of last night, I smelled some clutch (stock), so what do you guys recommend for clutch upgrades? Thanks a bunch- you guys rock.

What kind of power are you planning to make with your car?
My act 2100 in my awd talon held over 25-30 5700 rpm launches and its still just fine.
Pedal pressure isnt very stiff (i dont really like that though) and engagement on a launch allows for a lot of slippage.

You dont necessarily have to get a evo3...if you're anything like half of us on this site, power will get really old really quick and you'll just want to make more and more.

Anyways, your mods should go as followed:
Obvious free mods
If you dont have a logger and really want link then get dsmlink first and foremost.
Put an exaust on the car, preferably a full 3in turbo back (your 14b isnt really going to creep)
Walbro 255 pump (just to be safe instead of getting a 190)
An AFPR if you dont feel like dealing with a semi rich idle
Fic 650s at the very least
FMIC of some sorts
This combination will allow you to run a pretty hefty turbo. I ran 29psi on 93 octane with my evo3 before i decided to switch to something larger (i would have done so sooner but im pretty broke) and everything is still just fine

If you go with a larger turbo id get a 60trim or something along those lines :)
