Engine load from pressure plate?

I have a 2600lb pressure plate in the car and i was looking for something a little bit less because it seems to be putting a littel too muhc load on my eninge and it wants to stall does anyone know a website or have a chart to what lb pressure plate and how much load it puts on an engine.

Let me make sure on what yo are saying. When you press the clutch, the engine seems to loss rpm? IF so, it sounds like you have some crank walk!

I hate to say it but that is one of the symptoms of a crank walking away.

yea im rebuilding an engine now buti was just wondering if anyone knew a chart for the engine load. thanks for the info

jsut liek how much foot lb of pressure is being put on the engien when teh clutch is being pushed in.
