Megasquirt Installiation

So i have my megasquirt assembled.
and now im trying to wire it up according to this write up:

This just isnt matching up.
I got the pinout for the harness I bought from diyautotune.
and there are 4 wires in the wireing harness that say they are for ms2 and I am using a ms1 with the v3board

but the write up says to connect 3 of these wires to the harness... I dont know. Could someone give me a hand my msn/ e-mail is

The 4 wires for the ms2 you don't need since you do not have the ms2 daughterboard and I don't think the ms2 data code for the dsm are fully out yet.

Thanks for giving the wrong information.
That doesn't answer what I asked at all.
I was having problems with the harness.

The original pins had to be modified for a DSM specific setup.
and 2 of the 4 MS2 wires I was asking about, are actually very important to make the MS1 board work.
AND the additional 2 wires can be used for additional functions, If I decide to.

I am planning on doing this to a friends 97 GSX this coming weekend, and I was wondering if the ECU pins are the same on the second gens? I know we need to use the CAS from a 1st gen, which we already have, but I need to know which wires on the factory wiring harness are the injectors. Also, do you use the factory coolant and IAT sensors or do you install the GM sensors? Thanks in advance, Nick

I'm guessing you could use stock IAT sensors... or you could use the GM ones to vent.

I used an open element GM IAT and positioned it about 3 inches before my TB elbow. and got rid of the MAF

I am going to use stock coolant temperature sensor. the resistance curve dealy is on the fourms look for a guy named Prez. he has the settings for the stock coolant sensor.

Do 2g's come with a IAT sensor??? or is it in the maf???

-just go with the GM one get someone to weld a bung on.

-and for the 2g wiring go to vfaq and get the 2g pinout. and match it up with the tech article here on tuners.

Im sure you can vent either way being the megasquirt gets its readings from an onboard map sensor. the stock sensors in the maf are no longer nessecary. this is if your going with the fuel and spark control
