ok i wrecked my green spyder and i am now looking at purchasing a 95 tsi awd that has suffered crank walk. when i work on it, i will be using a lift but i will have to roll the car. i know pushing it on two wheels will destroy it, but is it ok to move it as long as all four wheels are spinning??

There isnt going to be much of diference in resistance. The AWD shouldnt be much heavier than a spyder.

It is absolutely no different than rolling in neutral with the motor on. As long as it is in neutral and all four wheels are on the ground - which I find it difficult to roll a car with it in gear (this is a joke; without the motor on, the car cannot be rolled easily, if at all while it is in gear; I have never tried it nor will I ever try it, it is not common sense because it will put the extra load of turning both the gears in the transmission and the motor on top of the weight of the car, making it much, much harder to do if it is even possible. With that said...) - you have nothing to worry about.

Reason for Editing: To address the response my original message recieved; I wanted to clear up any misconceptions that may have occurred from reading my initial post. Since this is the internet, it is difficult to determine what is a joke, what is not, what seems to be a misunderstanding and what is not. Hopefully this clears that up for drewbe121212 and future readers of the thread.

^^ Yeah. That just sounds like your asking for something to break. Whether it does or not is a different story, but it just seems like your knocking on the "i want to break something" door.
