Hello fellow tuners. I have owned my gsx for a year and a half now and I couldn't be more addicted. I have decided to sell my other cars so I can build my eclipse into the machine that it was meant to be. Problem is I haven't had much luck selling my other cars. As of right now I just have an autotrader ad that will run until they sell. But I'm not getting many calls. I not to big on parking them somewhere. I was hoping for any tips on free ways to advertise. I am already going to lose a ton of money, I don't want to pay more. Also, I was interested in opinions on pricing. I think I am being very fair, but maybe some members could give me some insight.

Both cars I am speaking of are pictured in my profile pic.

1994 Camaro Z-28 6 speed 109,000 miles
JET stage 3 chip, flowmasters, moroso intake, b&m short shifter
wings west aero kit, cowl hood, 18's, newer paint, new brakes, rotor, clutch, slave clyinder
I am only asking $5,000.

1995 Nissan 200sx SE-R 5 speed 80,000 miles
This car has every bolt on imaginable almost, cams, spec clutch and flywheel, TRE rebuilt trans, ground controls with KYB/AGX. Brand new paint, I mean it is flawless. It has a molded urythane bodykit, 17's with brand new tires. Plus a couple grand more in new OEM parts.
I am asking $6,000

Please give me some opinions on my asking prices and any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I could build one nice DSM once their gone. If I only knew in the beginnig. :dsm:

if you have a local trader put them in there. start your camaro out at 6000 and the ser at 6500. people will call and then see what u can do with them but when they try to lower there price make it sound like you really dont want to let the car go that bad. works for me when i try to sell things around my home town

you can always list it on ebay motors...or if you are nearby a military base advertise it there....good luck...:thumb:

If your se-r is really flawless then you should join a nissan forum and take clean pictures of it and put "Perfect for sr20 swap" or just keep it yourself and dump an sr20silvia motor in it. They're cheap and powerfull! 2500$installed, motor, trans, ecu, whole front clip! that motor is under rated its similer to a 4g63 2.0 liter turbo, just a lot more dependable! And parts are just as cheap and common as 4g63! For more info go to zilvia.net .

Post up se-r on se-r forums and you could try wvstreets.com since you are in ohio im sure some people around me might pick up either or both from you. Pm me if you want ill post up pics and info on the wv forums.

I only have new member status so this is the only place I can post. WVTURBO2 thanks for the link. I will definately be sending you a PM.

RS-RGS-T, I wouldn't mind keeping my nissan but I have some bills to pay off so I need to sell both. Plus I don't like wrong wheel drive. It's not one of the older rear wheel drive cars, it's basically a Sentra. No need for a SR2O swap though, it has one. It's just n/a so I need to strap a turbo to it. Thought about giving it my old t-25? Anyone know if this is possible.

Anyways, thanks for the help and advice, please keep it coming. Also, no one has said my prices were too high, so I guess I'm in the right ballpark.

So the SE-R is not RWD? Either way you have a nice selection of tastefully modded cars. You also have a decent amount of money into both of them in which you will never recooperate. Why would you want to sell it all for a GSX? To make it the beast it should be? Both cars have a excellent history of high hp beasts with minimal costs if you do your research and proper hunting. Don;t get me wrong the same thing can be done wit an the GSX. Maybe theres more behind the story like paying other bills. Are you sick of modding these cars? I don't know what kind of things you like to do with your cars, but you have a nice cars that can be used on the drag strip, drifting event, and even auto xing.
Maybe I am baised b/c I orignally wanted a Z-28 but my parents wouldn't let me go under their insurance. My parents don't know my Eclipse has a turbo on it, they see the Eclipse as a nice economical car with 4 cy engine in it. All the gauges and FMIC for their knowledge and concern is all for show. Intake and exhaust are typical mods but not great HP gainers, but their not dumb enough to realize that a GT stang or Z-28 Camaro spells trouble. They have a good amount of car knowledge for they have a weekend warrior. A 1970 Olds 442 W-30, theri just not aware of today's technology.

If I were you either sell the GSX or sell the SE-R if its FWD, bt converting it to RWD will cost how much? Then again its your toys (which are very nice), so your decision. If I had the money, I would have one of those or both in my driveway!

try NEWCOUGAR.ORG, I use to have a extremely nice Cougar, at the time it costs 15k to put a turbo on it with a built engine(result was 392FWDHP, which meant you needed custom axels which was not included in the orignal build). I belive when you do things, you do it right, so I sold it and bought the GS-T. Now its a little cheaper, $3000k for the turbo kit, but building the engine is a different story as well as getting all that power to the ground. If you join over there, PM me here and I will vouch for you, since I am respectful member on the baords. Joining is free. Your best bet is to join car forums and put them up forsale there.

Foreverfalcon40, thanks for the kind words. I have worked very hard over the years to earn my cars, so I love it when someone appreciates them. Hell, I bought the camaro strictly bussing tables. I can't afford all three so I have to sell at least one. I would like to keep my nissan, but I think it will be the easier sell. The camaro is gone for sure. If I were to keep it I know I would make it a drag car, and I prefer to stay away from purpose built cars. I like my dogs to have more than 1 trick.

some come fwd, some come awd like the gti-r pulsar turbo, and most rwd (silvia) keep the se-r !!! you probably love the thing shoot i would light as hell plus lots of power. and t25 is stock sr turbo for black top!
