1G parts problem

i got a 1g and im looking for parts cant find anywhere in my city even the dealership need ball joints wanted to know if 1g and 2g are the same or if you guys no anyone selling some

I'm pretty positive they aren't the same. On 2g's your supposed to replace the whole control arm. I did a litlle research. Theres a Mitsu Dealership in Winnipeg. http://www.vickarmitsubishi.com/ You just need a vin # from a 91 GSX. Maybe also try your local parts stores.

They are different and dealership will not sell you just the balljoints, instead they will make you buy a new control arm, try napa.

i tried everywhere a couple places had the fronts which is weird because its just the ball joints and i thought you have to replace the whole arm and if so would it be possible to just replace the ball joints in the rear or is it a must because the ball joints are built in the control arm another thing have you purchased from the mitsubishi dealer here or you just guessing they might be able to get it because one dealership i called the chrysler they said hard to get parts and couldnt order me any of the bj.

Yes you can but you must tell them what year/model you have even though some might turn out to be the same. Any auto parts store, besides satan, will be able to order balljoints for you.

Why don't you just tell them you need both front and back ball joints instead of guessing?

It's very possible that they're the same, take the rear wheel off and compare it to the front ones you're able to get.

On a side note, please use proper grammar, punctuations and capitalizations in tech posts.
