ok well ive tryed to put a cold air intake onto my 96 eclipse gst and it works for a while and then it decides to got to sh*t on me and i just want to know what it might be so i could run the cold air intake. i dont know what im doing wrong.

Try resetting your ECU. Just disconnect the black terminal on you battery for like 2 min. That might help.

As a side note, cold air intakes aren't that great. Usually you end up loosing power. Not to mention the piping heats up (unless it's a plastic pipe) so as the air flows through it is heated before it enters your intake. If you can, get a short ram intake. Those usually perform better and have less issues.
