Fuel pump question

Has any one ever used their stock pump as a lift pump and installed a hi flow pump inline. I was just curious people run this setup on mustangs all the time with forced induction. Basically just use the stock pump to provide fuel to the big pump. i have a aeromotive fuel pump, its just not an in tank pump. Its either use a lift pump or plumb into the bottom of the gas tank sump. Any input?

No one does that, ### it's not necessary, and it's extra work.........a single 255hp pump provides enough fuel (with the correct injectors to match your setup) to support more hp than most of us ever achieve.....
