While putting my motor back into my car I must have bumped the oil pump housing and cracked it. I didnt replace the oilpump so I guess I will now. Anyway I got my oilpump from topline and It did not come with the plug where the Rear balance shaft goes. I dont have the Bs shafts anymore But can I swap the plug from my current Oil pump into my new one? I Read the shop manual and it requires a oring which should be in my gasket kit. Will I have any problems. Also will I be able to get the thing off with out a Special tool. I was thinking a screwdriver.

And to vent..... I hate my car right now. I put in a new clutch and I have to drop the tranny (again)to shim the pivot ball and Now I have to tear apart the whole front case to change the pump out Which will also make me drop the pan...... Got to love it. You live and learn right.

Thanks Tuners
Sam
