what to use?

found out the rod bearings in my 95 eagle are shot it is a 92 short block but now it is time to rebuild it i have heard a stock bottom end will withstand up to 400 horsepower? i want to make anywhere from 400 to 450 now here are my main questions. Going to buy new rods but factory or go with aftermarket? will they hold and hold for a good while and some pretty good bashings? and the pistons? factory or aftermarket? also buying new. want to do it right the first time it wont be a daily driver but it will be a weekend driver and i would also like to go on 70 to 80 mile trips with it also that is how far it is to the dragstrip thnx for your time and help

If you have the money I would go aftermarket. Scat rods and Wiesco pistons

i also plan on using all arp bolts. factory crank or aftermarket? thanks

I would stay with the stock crank.

how much did your 2.4 cost you and what all did you use in the bottom end?

My 2.4 is awaiting the funds to be complete. I bought the Scat rods and Wiesco pistons already.
