Ok, my heater was blowing thick white smoke and depositing a greasey film on the windshield. So I rerouted the lines in the engine bay. Not having a defroster makes the car pretty much impossible to drive here. So I decided to go out in the snow this weekend rip out the dash and change the heater core. Taking out the dash wasn't that big a problem, getting it back together might be another story...
So heres my problem. I have the dash out, but the heater core is still covered up by a lot of stuff. Do I seriously have to take out everything from under the dash to change the core?
It looks to me I'll have to take out the whole center console to get to the heater core.
Please tell me there is an easyer way.
Any info would be extremely helpful.
