My old t25 finally took a crap, so I went with the FP Big28. I got it on a few days ago and am very happy. I know I dont post alot, for the most part I get my questions answered through searching, but thanks for keeping the forums up. The site really helped get the install done smoothly with only one last minute run to autozone. so thanks much. :talon:

So you're just going to show us a pic of a brown cardboard box that says Garrett on it?

There it is out of the box. Took me about 4 hours to get it on and running.

I was amazed at what it did for my upper rpm range. I lined up with an s2000 tonight and ate his lunch, and that was without even a good awd launch because im scared to destroy my clutch....

Awesome turbo eh? I dont think it gets the respect it deserves. Fast spoolin and pulls hard till redline. Im only at 16 pounds and its hella faster then the t2small at 18 pounds. Have fun with it! And dont forget to let it idle when your done driving it!

Wow, DSMers are still upgrading to a not as small turbo as the t25? jk. Anything is better than stock t25 thats for sure. Congrats on the upgrade.

Isn't the t28 also oil and water cooled? If so theres really no need to turbo time it.

Check if your actuator arm is adjustable. If it isn't, it's the stock 9psi actuator. Get the 17 psi actuator from FP pronto! Really holds the boost down at high rpms when you push it to 22.

No its not ported, I'm not worried about making big power at the moment. my stock t25 went out and I needed a replacement. I'd heard good things about it from almost everyone so I got it. Im just running stock boost right now because I've got no fuel mods and no way to tune it at the moment. With school and a job (downer.) i dont have time to learn to tune it, and if I were to screw something up and need a rebuild I dont have another car. Summer's just around the corner though so I'll have more time and money....hopefully then I can get into some serious mods. I think with that turbo and a big enough wing and maybe some underglows for good measure, I can be running at least 4's by the end of the summer ;)
