About a week ago my check engine light came on and the motor won't rev anywhere past 2500 rpm. Hooked up the datalogger and found that somethings up with the air flow sensor. I plugged in a working sensor but the problem continued. No other error codes come up on the logger so it's possibly my mafs wiring. I have the 2nd gen wiring connected to the original wiring and all the connections are good so I'm a little confused. What tests could I do to check the wiring or another reason why the engine light could be on. The car idle surges so I am pretty sure it is the mafs but can't figure out what's wrong with it.

Im having the same problem. bad 1g mass, so i spliced wires to a good 2g mafs and still getting cel and idel surge and shitty performace after car warms up. anyone have specs on how i can use ohm meter to track this problem down? im thinking its harness issues.
3 months of giving up and pulling hair out trying to fix this!:banghead::ohdamn:
