So,
I've been lurking here and posting a few times... just reading and searching and reading all the time. I know there are TONS of these threads, but I just really want some input on my plans before I order everything I need.

1995 GSX

So far I have/ordered:
-Rebuilt/Ported 14B (and cheap install kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=150097052817&rd=1&rd=1) I also have the water lines and oil return line. ($200 for turbo, $92.00 for install kit)
-190 Walbro (~$100)
-Datalogger (~$85)
-Knockoff Greddy BOV w/pipe+flange (damn decent quality, $60.00)
-Voodoo MBC ($15.00)
-Boost Gauge
-Intake (pipe/filter)

Plan on ordering:
-Apex'i S-AFC Neo (~$300)
-550cc Injectors (maybe 650cc?)
-Small FMIC (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=250089736207&rd=1&rd=1 I want to keep my 95 fogs)
-Intercooler piping kit (still looking at these)

Again, I've searched for everything many many times, I'm finally ordering these things today, I just wanted some opinions on this setup... and any opinions on cheaper alternatives. For example, I'm pretty sure I need a better intercooler than my side-mount to go 18+ PSI on that 14b. But, I don't want to spend too much for my intercooler/piping because I originally wanted to skip the S-AFC and injectors, and just run on stock injectors. So, I don't really want to get a FMIC and be held back with not having a S-AFC and injectors... but the cost for injectors + S-AFC is like 500 bucks total. I am on a budget obviously, but am willing to spend a little bit to make myself happy a little longer.

Get the components to rewire the Walbro.

650s give you more growing room, but the extra SAFC corrections will lead to more timing advance which might give you knock problems. I'm not familiar with the Neo, but if it's just lying to the ECU about airflow, then the problem is the same.

Get the parts and make a boost leak tester and do the normal maintenance.

If you're the spunky type, maybe you want to port the mani, turbine housing, and O2 housing while everything's apart.

You should probably invest in an egt as well. If you are interested, i am trying to sell my RC engineering 550cc injectors. They were just professionally cleaned and flowed i even have the flow readings. I am also selling my black s-afc II. pm me if you are interested
