how can you tell the difference between a turbo 1g and a n/t 1g?????? im looking at a beautiful 1g eclipse but im having a really hard time trying to figure out if its a turbo or not because they made three kinds of elipses back then. two of them had the exact same engine and the other one sucked. the one that im looking at has the 4g63 in it but i didnt see a turbo. are they that small???? somebody help me out please!!!

Just take a look at the VIN for starters

BUT you should also verify by actually looking for the turbo as sometimes they'll do a swap, if you can't find the turbo there should be a BOV on the upper intercooler piping, and you could look for the intercooler as well.

I was gonna post that too, but there are a few mods on there that may be confusing. For 1 the BOV is mounted upsidedown. But yeah, you should be able to find the turbo in the location specified there.

The turbo is the unit that bolts onto (and under) the exhaust manifold with the exhaust header pipe bolting onto it (ie. it's between the two). It also has two large air hoses attached.
