Ok I was going to be putting in a used 50 trim I had purchased when I saw a little problem. Its externally gated and I know that one of the wastegate lines needs to be run to the turbo. The problem is that this turbo has no place for the wg line to attach to.

Do I need to put a nipple in?

How do I do this?

Shouldnt the nipple be around where I circled somewhere?

You have to have a external wg. ex. Tial, HKS, APEXi ect. and your line to the boost source will go off the top nipple of the wg. Thats how I have it on my Tial.

Yes i know it needs an external gate, I have already purchased this. What I wanted to know was where on the turbo the external gate attaches too. I know it connects to a nipple but this turbo doesnt have one on it

Heres a picture for reference.

On this turbo the part that i circled, this is where the wastegate attaches to, How do i put that on my turbo? or can I put a nipple like that in my ic piping like you did?

Also if I have a 7.2psi spring, what does this mean?

Does it mean the minimum psi I can run is 7.2?

With this spring can I run 14 psi like i want?

I have an ebc if that makes a difference

You can drill and tap the turbo or IC pipe and put a nipple in it.

If the spring is 7psi then yes 7psi is the lowest you can run. Some boost controllers can only do double the spring pressure. If I were you I would get a 1bar Spring.

Would I really need to up the spring right away? I have a greddy ebc and i can hit 18 psi on my 16g just fine with internal gate. Would I still be able to hit that if I wanted to?
