My cousin has a 2g spyder with s 2.4l motor. He turbocharged it with a t3/t04e turbo. Heres the thing his car has been throwin smoke lately so we took off the intercooler pipes off the turbo exhaust housing and there was oil, in the intercooler and in the pipes on the exhaust part. Now does this mean his turbo is blown or ### an this be. Its a ball bearing turbo, it might be a cheap knockoff but it aint dont say garret or anything. So the question is, is it blown or can it be the oil feed line is placed wrong?

It sounds like it could be the seals in the turbo. You say its a knock off and that could be the main reason. Does the turbo still spool like it did? Is there a kink in the oil return line?
