So i recently aquired a 90 awd talon. I am replaceing front cv axles, ball joints, rotors calipers(off of a 93) and wheel bearings. So I had a local shop do my front wheel bearings for me since i no longer have a press. This is my problem first off the driveshaft side seal is not there they never put it in, that not a big issue though the problem is i don't know if they put the seal in between the hub and the spindle and it has to be pressed apart to check. I'm pretty sure there are no seals in place but if i call and ask they are most likely going to say that the seals are in there. The dealer wants 85-125 a spindle to put the seals in. Also the one is very hard to turn and the other is so so. I figure they should probably be pretty tight at first or am I mistaken here as well? :notgood:

It sh ould turn pretty easily. Take it back to them and say the outer seal wasn't put in place, and im pretty sure you didnt put the inner seal in. They should do it for free.

It shouldnt be a problem taking it back to the shop that did the work. Most places will be willing to fix something they screwed up.
