Whats wrong with my clutch?!

So i live in minnesota and about a week and a half ago we had some really cold weather and the first morning it was about negative 20. Went to start the car and it was fine then driving to school the clutch lost alot of pressure after i had shifted a few times. Now it is to the point that when i push in on the clutch the pedal just sticks to the floor so i pull it up with my foot pump it a few times then it will shift into gear.

I have a act2100 clutch

Does anyone know what this might be? master or slave cylinder possibly?

Ya, sounds like master or slave is a possibility. BUT, first check for:

1.) proper fluid level
2.) mechanical binding in the clutch to master cly. linkage
3.) fluid leaks allowing air to enter the system. This can lead the the petal getting stuck on the floor.
 
I'm going to agree with mhuffman. This problem sounds like the slave or master cylinder.

Check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder

Check the clutch line for leaks

Check the slave cylinder for wetness, you want to look under the rubber boot for leaks.

Check the master cylinder, here you will want to look under the dashboard and on the firewall or carpet under where the master cylinder rod comes through the firewall.

Replace parts as nessecary and bleed the system. Good luck.
 
Like everyone is saying, it sounds like the slave or master cylinder. When this problem occured with me, one of the most obvious problem diagnostic was that right behind the clutch pedal where the firewall is, the carpet was wet with fluid. Check over there, and good luck!
 
I replaced my slave and master cylinders today. I will tell you that one is bad even if you dont see any fluid. I didn't see any fluid. A quick check to see if you master cylinder is bad and you dont see any fluid in your inner firewall is to remove unbolt the line going to your slave from the master, make sure there is fluid in the resevoir and have someone pump the pedal very slowly (half a pump should be more than enough) as you put your hand over the exit hole as to plug it. Be careful, dont stick your face directly over it. The pressure won't kill you or cut a whole in your finger, but none the less. If you feel enough presure to push your hand off than its not your master, its your slave cylinder.
 
Well the fluid level was fine, but the fluid was realllllly dirty so i bled it out and refilled it with new and ran it through a few times, clutch feels brand new. Just to be safe i am gonna change the slave and master cylinder when it is warmer out. Even if they are not bad what would be the big deal, its a 95 time to start replacing things anyway ;)
